Nice..lets not lose it!!!Hungerford library is a major part of our local community. It's under threat of closure due to local council cuts... closing hit would be such a major hit to our town. Our library offers reading clubs for children and since the closure of the local post office they've stepped in to help.A community of 6500 deserve a post office and a good library service.
The staff is very helpful and they organize a great range of activities, from Craft & Chat to book clubs, talks, computer initiation sessions, art, book readings. There's something for everyone. Definitely the heart of the community.
