Recently purchased a second-hand Trek Alpha as a winter bike, it was in pretty good condition, but had a couple of niggly gear changing problems. I took it to Jim, and after a full service and minor repairs together with a couple of upgrades, I now have a brilliant winter bike. Jim always gives you a fair and honest appraisal of what needs doing and it's always a brilliant job on the bike. Excellent customer service, miles better than a couple of the leading High Street bike retailers. Highly recommended 5/5
What a great guy! I had mechanical issues out on a ride, and called Jim on the off chance that he could help. I couldn't have asked for more, Jim was really helpful and got me on the move when I thought I'd have to get the train home. Considerate, knowledgeable, really great.
Jim saved my day - on A Sunday afternoon! He amazingly took the scooter I'd just bought for my son's bday (2nd hand on ebay!) and mended it at no notice in time for me to give it to my boy on time! Jim has done a really great job on my MTB - he is responsive, thorough and extremely diligent and his work is first-rate. I am very grateful to him for coming to my house to sort out my bike with minimum fuss and maximum quality.
Jim took two of my bikes for a 'regular' service, however the service I received was anything but 'regular'. Full informal chat before coming to collect from my home, each bike receiving a full breakdown of wear and tear and then explanations on best remedies. Returned to home looking showroom fresh and feeling even better than when new. Highly recommended for MTB/RB/Kids bike... in fact everything pedal related!
